Great Job David. I'm glad you like the Scholar pencils. Grand Prize Winner, Jefferson High School, Rockford, IL: David Hanthaley The idea of this piece is classical meets modern. This piece showcases two different instruments: one an electric violin and the other a traditional Chinese erhu. To create this art, I was inspired by classical Chinese music and the Chinese culture. I also play the violin, so that inspired me as well. Grand Prize Winner, Hinsdale Central High School, Hinsdale, IL: Edward Yang Vibrant colors remind me of a collection of stars, fruits, oceans, and, most of all, clothing. There is no limit to how many colors of how many tastes can be applied onto paper.
